Tradition with a twist
Niomi Brough launched her cake business Dotty Designs in 2012 and loves using the region’s local produce in her creations. Based in Kirkcudbright, Niomi is now also one of the organisers of the town’s annual food festival in October. She has been tweaking her Christmas cake recipe over the last couple of years to make it delicious and rich, and it’s now one of her favourite festive cake recipes which she shares with us in the December issue of Dumfries & Galloway Life.
