Here we showcase our 2017 Dumfries & Galloway Life Awards winners and the amazing work they do for the region. ‘It would be hard to find a place anywhere in the world where community means more than it does right here.” That’s how co-host Gilly Fraser summed up the Dumfries & Galloway Life Awards, which celebrated local heroes from around the region in a glittering ceremony at Easterbrook Hall in Dumfries on November 24.
